Changes with SNAP: November 30th Deadline

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides nutrition benefits to eligible low-income individuals and families so they can purchase healthy food and move towards self-sufficiency.

Families whose children were eligible for free and reduced meals in the 2022-23 school year can apply for $120 in additional benefits (to replace meals when kids were not in school during summer 2023).

Families not on SNAP whose children participated in free or reduced meals in the 2022-2023 school year need to apply for these additional benefits on the NH Easy website, but many parents do not know about the application.

SNAP families will have additional benefits directly added to their SNAP EBT cards without having to apply. The application will only be open until November 30.   Please share with your families.
